Purchasing & Inventory Manager
ONSITE: $65,000 - $75,000
SummaryThe Purchasing & Inventory Manager oversees procurement and inventory control to ensure materials are available to support operations while controlling costs and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Responsibilities- Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers; negotiate pricing and terms
- Create and manage purchase orders aligned with forecasts and production needs
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels; monitor turns, stockouts, and excess inventory
- Analyze demand trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
- Partner with Operations, Production, Accounting, and Warehouse teams
- Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems and inventory records
- 5+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain roles
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- ERP/MRP system experience (SAP, Sage, JD Edwards, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree preferred
The salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
