Purchasing​/Inventory Manager

Overview

ONSITE: $65,000 - $75,000

The Purchasing & Inventory Manager oversees procurement and inventory control to ensure materials are available to support operations while controlling costs and maintaining optimal stock levels.

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers; negotiate pricing and terms
• Create and manage purchase orders aligned with forecasts and production needs
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels; monitor turns, stockouts, and excess inventory
• Analyze demand trends and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly
• Partner with Operations, Production, Accounting, and Warehouse teams
• Ensure data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems and inventory records

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain roles
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
• ERP/MRP system experience (SAP, Sage, JD Edwards, or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
