Summary
The QHSE Data Specialist supports implementation of Motion’s Industries, Quality, Health, Safety & environment initiatives by monitoring, evaluating, calculating, and tracking QHSE and corporate responsibility measures within our systems while supporting our internal and external customers through administrative tasks.
Job Duties- Assists with data collection, management, analysis, quality assurance & verification.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders regarding data requirements.
- Creates standard reporting and reporting dashboards on a variety of sustainability metrics.
- Assists with program analysis and recommendations for sustainability programs, pilot expansions, and improvements.
- Supports creation of annual sustainability report and carbon disclosure program.
- Compiles retail peer environmental benchmarking data including metrics, emissions reduction efforts and sustainability disclosures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Typically requires a bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Sustainability or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities- Ability to connect data and create visualizations utilizing SQL, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI or other related programs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to build effective relationships and interact with a variety of individuals and departments.
- Strong project management skills, including time management, taking initiative, and meeting deadlines.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills. Licenses & Certifications
