Position Overview
As a Senior Business Continuity Specialist within PNC’s Enterprise Event Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, Denver, CO, Birmingham, AL, or Phoenix, AZ. The required schedule is 12:00PM ET – 9:00PM ET. Your role is an individual contributor responsible for quality monitoring and comprehensive assessment of incidents or large‑scale events that may impact bank operations and employee safety.

- Assess hazards presenting risk for day‑to‑day incidents or planned/unplanned events, including technology‑related or local, state, national, and global events affecting safety.
- Prepare to execute response plans and coordinate resources to mitigate risk and impacts to people, property, and customer experience.
- Coordinate and execute
24×7support in collaboration with Enterprise Event Management and response teams. - Advance the program and execute plans while monitoring and tracking annual program activities for compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Act as point of contact for resource coordination aligned to designated response plans or large business segments.
- Ensure activities align with the organization’s Business Resiliency and/or Business Continuity program and adhere to the standard lifecycle of an event.
- Execute the lifecycle at all levels of an incident or event, including crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, and disaster preparedness planning and testing.
- Participate in lifecycle planning, including business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery planning, and recovery testing.
- Ensure compliance of all enterprise event management programs.
- Partner with key leaders on business continuity issues.
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversee testing, emergency response, and recovery.
- Provide insight on operating strategy selection to continue business within a recovery time objective.
- Lead business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning, and disaster‑preparedness planning.
- Support and provide expertise during live events.
- Conduct, communicate, and maintain business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis.
- Identify and quantify potential impacts of disruptions and disaster scenarios.
- Prepare reporting for the LOB committee/executive on compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events, and exercise results.
- Partner with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues, if required.
- Lead development and enhancement of information on continuity processes, standards, and initiatives.
- Support design and delivery of training on business continuity.
- University/college degree with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Knowledge of auditing operations, crisis management, disaster recovery planning, process design, and regulatory compliance.
- Competencies in contingency and disaster recovery, crisis management, decision making, effective communication, flexibility, adaptability, industry knowledge, tactical and strategic planning, and requirements analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: certifications such as Six Sigma, PMP, CBCP, or PRINCE

Bachelor’s degree. No proprietary certification required; comparable experience may be considered.
Pay TransparencyBase salary range: $82,500.00 – $. Compensation may vary by geographic location, market data, and individual qualifications. Incentive eligible based on performance.
