Project Manager - Construction & Services

Fluid Solutions, LLC, a 19-year-old company operating in over 150 countries worldwide, is seeking a Construction and Services Project Manager to support the pricing, coordination, and end-to-end management of domestic fuel construction and US Government projects (specific experience with Department of State Overseas Building Operations (OBO) is preferred but not required). The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects while coordinating across internal teams and subcontractors.

• Compiling cost estimates, proposal packages, and detailed written scopes of work; quoting entire projects with all required documentation.
• Identifying and engaging new subcontractors and vendors based on project location and market, coordinating pricing, issuing purchase orders, and managing subcontracts.
• Regularly communicating and coordinating internally with other divisions to successfully deliver projects.
• Managing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects from the conceptual stage through final completion.
• Preparing and managing the submittal process, including coordination with internal divisions and external subcontractors/vendors.
• Procuring tools, materials, and equipment; issuing purchase orders and subcontracts as needed.
• Participating in technician and crew scheduling meetings, discussing project needs in advance as they arise.
• Focusing initially on domestic commercial fuel construction and international US Government projects, with expected expansion into additional markets and disciplines over time.
• Familiarity with bidding and managing mechanical and plumbing projects.
• Preparing and briefing crews before deployment and conducting debriefs upon project completion.
• Assisting in developing scopes of work based on prior service trips performed by technicians and making recommendations to clients.
• Driving recommended repairs, replacements, trainings, and services to clients, managing opportunities from conception through completion.
• Providing remote troubleshooting support for clients, project sites, and field technicians as necessary.
• Assisting technicians with paperwork (e.g., startup checklists, training plans) when travel schedules conflict with client deadlines.
• Reviewing solicitations and identifying potential project opportunities.
• Supporting sales and growth into additional potential markets, particularly within U.S. Government agencies.

• 4+ years of experience in construction project management, estimating, or related technical services.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience managing projects with government agencies, preferably OBO or similar.
• Ability to develop scopes of work and proposals based on incomplete or evolving project information.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail across calls, emails, and in-person coordination.
• Customer-centered mindset with responsiveness, proactivity, and accountability.
• Willingness to travel as needed for project support, coordination, and execution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Mac Book Pro for documentation and communication.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and process flow diagrams.
