Our client is growing and looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to support earthwork, site development, and civil construction projects. This role involves operating a range of equipment with precision, awareness of site conditions, and a strong focus on safety and production.

• Operate excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, backhoes, skid steers, and graders
• Perform rough and fine grading, trenching, excavation, and material moving
• Read grade stakes, site layouts, and follow directions from foremen and superintendents
• Conduct daily pre‑op inspections and report equipment issues
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments and fluid checks
• Work alongside laborers and field crews to meet production goals
• Maintain safe operating practices on active construction sites
• Follow project plans, safety procedures, and environmental standards

• Excavators – CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Hitachi
• Dozers – John Deere, CAT, Case
• Skid Steers & Loaders – Bobcat, CAT, Volvo
• Graders & Rollers – Deere, Hamm, Sakai
• Off‑road trucks and site haul equipment

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment across multiple job types
• Ability to work from grade stakes, plans, and supervisory direction
• Knowledge of jobsite safety, trenching, and equipment operation standards
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus
• GPS machine control experience is a bonus but not required
