Senior Construction Project Manager – Jacobs – Birmingham, AL

At Jacobs, our Program Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) team works seamlessly with clients by delivering projects and programs to achieve our clients' goals. What we do is more than construction; we play a part in moving a vision from concept to reality.

Based at the client site in Pensacola, FL, you will work with the client, Jacobs project team members, and subconsultant staff for the successful delivery of active projects. You will provide contract management oversight, facilitate resolution of complex project‑related issues, and be responsible for ensuring the progress and technical performance of a project, as well as task management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety of the team.

Your ability to multi‑task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, Architecture, or Business‑related degree.
• 15 years of experience as a technical specialist in construction and design related field; with minimum 20 years involved in managing all phases of construction.
• Experience with various disciplines, trades and systems related, with an emphasis on full project delivery.
• Strong working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building.
• Strong understanding and experience in developing real estate.

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (PE), Architect license/certification, or General Contractors License.
• Proven experience working on Class A multi‑family construction projects.
