Senior Estimator

Our client is a rapidly growing, woman-owned and minority-owned commercial contractor specializing in drywall, paint, insulation, and commercial construction services throughout Alabama. Having grown from a small family operation into a multi-million-dollar contractor, the company continues to expand its presence across hotels, multifamily housing, educational facilities, retirement communities, and government projects throughout the region.

As growth continues, we are seeking a Senior Estimator who wants to do more than prepare bids. This is an opportunity to work directly with ownership, influence the future of the estimating department, and play a key role in the next phase of the company's growth.

• Influence estimating processes and procedures
• Support project teams across multiple business units
• Improve operational efficiency and estimating accuracy
• Assist with developing future estimating talent
• Become a trusted resource within the organization
• Help shape the future of the estimating department

• 10+ years of commercial estimating experience
• Commercial drywall and paint expertise
• Experience with hotels, multifamily, or commercial interiors
• Strong understanding of takeoffs, bidding, procurement, and change orders
• Project management experience is a plus
• Desire to contribute at a higher level within a growing organization

• Commercial Paint Estimating
  
  Experience:
  
  Strong background in estimating commercial paint scopes
• Bid & Takeoff Expertise:
  Experience preparing quantity takeoffs, bids, and change orders
• Construction Document Review:
  Ability to review plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Bilingual Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Fluent English and Spanish communication skills preferred
• Software Proficiency:
  Experience with Bluebeam, Plan Swift, or similar estimating software
• Leadership Potential:
  Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
