Mechanical Project Manager

A leading Tier 1 M&E contractor is looking to strengthen its Midlands delivery team with the appointment of an experienced Mechanical Project Manager.

• A well-established Tier 1 M&E contractor with a strong industry reputation
• A secure pipeline of projects across Birmingham and the wider Midlands region
• An experienced operational and commercial team with a collaborative approach
• A business committed to professional development and internal progression
• Projects ranging from large commercial developments through to technically challenging specialist schemes

• Taking ownership of mechanical packages from pre-construction through to completion
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners
• Working closely with commercial and design departments to ensure successful project delivery
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders
• Monitoring programme performance, quality standards and project costs
• Supporting commissioning activities and overseeing final handover
• Identifying risks, resolving issues and ensuring projects remain on track

• A strong understanding of HVAC, public health and mechanical systems
• Experience working for an M&E contractor or building services specialist
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage project budgets effectively
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery
