Summary

Every well-run construction project has someone behind the scenes keeping the timeline honest. That's what this role is about. As our Construction Scheduler, you'll be the person project managers, superintendents, and field crews turn to for knowing what's happening this week, what's coming next, and where the schedule needs a little extra attention to stay on track.

What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules for residential construction projects using scheduling software
  • Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to gather accurate updates and keep schedules current
  • Watch project progress against baseline schedules and flag variances, delays, or risks before they become problems
  • Communicate schedule changes and milestone updates clearly to everyone who needs to know
  • Lead scheduling coordination meetings with project teams and segment leadership
  • Help build recovery plans when a project falls behind
  • Keep historical scheduling data organized to support future planning and estimating
  • Coordinate with procurement and materials teams so deliveries line up with the schedule
  • Support closeout documentation as projects wrap up
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in construction scheduling, project coordination, or a similar role
  • Comfort with computers and solid Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills, since you'll be the connective tissue between the office and the field
  • A knack for spotting problems early and staying calm when timelines shift
  • Located in Madison WI
