SPM Building Services is hiring a Project Site Supervisor to oversee all field aspects of assigned multifamily rehab and large capital construction projects. This is a project-based role for an approximately 12-month engagement, with the opportunity to be assigned to future projects based on availability and performance — a great fit for someone looking to join a rapidly growing Building Services platform.
As the sole on-site supervisor for the project, you'll be the go-to person coordinating vendors, contractors, and the community's operations team to keep work on schedule and on budget.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct pre-construction inspections and contractor walks for estimating/bidding
- Manage large material import orders and organize on-site material inventory
- Oversee key management and unit access for the project
- Manage resident notice-of-entry and coordinate with property operations
- Ensure the project stays on schedule and keep the project team informed
- Conduct quality assurance protocols and project punch walks
- Manage vendor and contractor relationships throughout the project
- Maintain project data in company project management software and trackers
- Communicate regularly with vendors, contractors, and operations teams
- Support the Project Manager with other project-related functions
What You Bring:
- 2-5 years of relevant construction or multifamily facilities experience
- Construction management background preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, appliance, and irrigation systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to build systems and processes and create order in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to work within a changing schedule, including travel
- Ability to work autonomously while keeping key stakeholders informed
- Must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance
