The Manager of Video Production manages the video production team while overseeing the vision and strategy for all video projects. This includes managing, producing, filming and editing various video content to support Motion’s business and marketing initiatives, digital campaign,s and internal and external communications. The manager collaborates with employees throughout the organization to bring the projects to life.
JOB DUTIES
- Manages, prioritizes, and coordinates all incoming video production and requests.
- Generates ideas for new videos and leads those projects from inception to creation, including interview, stories, and new video formats.
- Develops a vision and plan for all video projects, in collaboration with internal staff and external partners.
- Researches best practices and emerging trends in technology to ensure Motion delivers high-quality video content.
- Supports marketing team with the creation and delivery of video and animation projects
- Creates dynamic and engaging video content.
- Communicates visual designs, motion design, concepts, and storyboards through presentations.
- Builds team knowledge of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and software.
- Leads video production on location, while ensuring brand and stakeholder alignment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Leads all video recording, production, and editing across the organization.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and six (6) to eight (8) years of related experience or the equivalent combination.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Expert in working with designers to translate difficult concepts into simple, sophisticated visual designs
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative skills
- Excellent judgment, trustworthiness, and commitment to integrity and quality
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and to establish follow through on priorities
- Ability to cope with continuous change and pressure in a dynamic environment
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Ability to manage projects, studio operations, video production, video budgeting and production accounting
- Knowledge of file formats and appropriate file sizes for various delivery methods required
- Creativity, ideation, with exceptional storytelling skills
