Social Media Specialist

Prop House Birmingham is looking for an enthusiastic, conceptual, and persuasive Social Media Specialist who can turn ideas into a high volume of compelling content—and keep moving. This role is for someone who thrives on production, works with urgency, and holds themselves accountable to ambitious goals and consistently strong execution.

This is a high-volume content creation role focused on consistently producing engaging, relevant, and persuasive social media content for Prop House Birmingham. You’ll be expected to move quickly between concepts, projects, platforms, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy, brand consistency, and a strong creative point of view.

Success in this position requires more than simply completing a content calendar. We’re looking for someone who can continuously generate ideas, execute them efficiently, evaluate what is working, and push toward stronger engagement, reach, and overall content performance.

• Concept, capture, edit, write, and publish consistent social content—including short-form video, photography, graphics, captions, stories, and other platform-specific content.
• Collaborate and develop fresh, trend-aware concepts, moving them from idea to finished concept while managing multiple projects and deadlines at once.
• Create messaging and visuals designed to capture attention, showcase our products and events, strengthen the Prop House brand, and influence potential clients to engage with us.
• Maintain accurate content, meet deadlines, track performance, respond to coaching and feedback, and continually adjust your approach with the expectation of meeting—and exceeding—content and growth goals.

  8:00am – 5:00pm (during the week, extended shift on the weekends)
• Swing off day would follow the week after working on a Saturday
• Pay Rate: $20.00-$27.00/ Hour

This position will collaborate with other members of the team and occasionally build relationships with clients, planners, venues, and industry partners to capture content and identify opportunities. However, the primary focus of this role is doing the work: creating, producing, publishing, and improving content at a consistently high level.
