Volunteer and Guest Services at Main Campus Lee Building. Full‑time evening shift, Monday‑Friday 1:00p‑9:30p.

Summary
Patient and Guest Information Representative are the initial face of Children’s of Alabama. They are responsible for performing receptionist, patient information, and customer service duties within lobby areas at Children’s of Alabama.

• High School Diploma or GED

• Minimum of 2 years of receptionist or customer service experience preferred.

• None required.

  High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
• Experience:
  
  1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Administrative or Clerical

Volunteer and Guest Services strive to create a welcoming experience for every visitor that enters our building. Our Patient and Guest Information Representatives are the first point of contact for many of our visitors as they enter the facility. Their role is to help guide and direct our visitors. Hospital volunteers help staff create an environment that eases the stress of patients and families during hospitalization and clinic visits.

The Gift Shop on Main is a full‑service gift shop featuring many items for patients including plush toys and pillows, books, games, puzzles, and more.
