Dental Assistant - Surgical

As a Surgical Dental Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our oral surgeons and prosthodontists during life‑changing dental implant procedures while growing your career in a positive, patient-centered environment.

Full‑Time – Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience and certification).

• Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures.
• Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area.
• Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures.
• Ensure patient comfort, monitor well‑being, and educate them on pre‑ and post‑operative care.
• Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocols.
• Take dental x‑rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed.
• Assist with medical clearances and patient record management.
• Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care.

• Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required.
• Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements.
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision.
• Self‑starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and care.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
