Position Summary
The Instructor is responsible for developing and implementing curriculum of the given academic area. Assist participants in subjects where special needs and deficiencies occur.
This position is part-time. Salary
Schedule:
Local Salary Schedule/L Daily Rate of $79.56 for a maximum of 19 hours/week.
This is a grant‑funded position. Continued employment is contingent upon funding from the grant. Non‑probationary status is not attainable by employment in this position, the funding and duration of which are finite.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop and implement curriculum of the given academic area.
- Maintain records of student progress and performance.
- Act as chaperone on field trips and on‑campus activities.
- Serve as resources person in area of specialization as well as resources for students with problems.
- Assist the coordinator in preparing, planning and coordinating cultural and recreational activities of the program.
- Perform related duties requested by the Coordinator.
- Bachelors’ degree/Associates degree or relevant experience.
- Through operation knowledge of Computer Information Systems.
- At least two years teaching experience.
- Experience in working with students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
