Assistant Professor – Montgomery Regional Campus

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Montgomery Regional Medical Campus is seeking applications for full‑time and part‑time annually‑renewable, non‑tenure‑earning assistant professor faculty positions. Successful candidates will have an M.D. or D.O. and be board‑certified or board‑eligible in Psychiatry.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient service at Baptist Medical Center South.
  • Teach Montgomery Psychiatry Residency Program and UAB School of Medicine third‑ and fourth‑year medical students.
  • Cover approximately eight weekends per year with no in‑house night call.
  • Engage in research as opportunities arise (research effort not required).
Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Strong teaching skills and commitment to academic medicine.
  • Ability to manage clinic and inpatient responsibilities.

Salary
