Blazer Jobs is partnering with local school districts in the Birmingham area to hire Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated educators who are passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs and helping them achieve academic, social, and behavioral success.

Opportunities are available across a variety of grade levels, caseloads, and special education settings. Placements may include resource, inclusion, co‑teaching, self‑contained, and specialized instructional programs.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Alabama Special Education Teaching Certification
• Ability to meet all district and state employment requirements

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with student IEP goals
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families
• Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and behavioral supports as needed
