Birmingham Program Specialist

Overview

The Program Specialist is the face of the Boosterthon program on elementary school campuses, helping schools reach fundraising goals by teaching a character-based curriculum, hosting the Boosterthon Fun Run, and engaging students, teachers, parents, and administrators.

• Teach and present a character-based curriculum to students.
• Set up and host the Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser.
• Motivate students to participate and raise funds for their school.
• Engage with teachers, parents, and school administrators.
• Model fitness, leadership, and character as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills—professional and enthusiastic written and verbal communication with students, faculty, and staff.

• Licensed driver with reliable transportation.
• Pass Booster's background and motor-vehicle check.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and remain active throughout the day.
• Full-day availability (7:00 am-4:00 pm) on scheduled workdays.

Compensation is $14-$16 per hour plus bonus opportunities. The position is non-exempt and offers opportunities for national travel and career development.
