Job Goals:
The Pre-K Auxiliary Teacher assists the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and engaging classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and academic growth of pre-kindergarten students.

The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with the Lead Teacher and school staff.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy classroom setting.
- Dependability, professionalism, and good judgment.
- Basic technology skills for classroom and documentation support.
This position may require the ability to:
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and sit on the floor with children.
- Lift or assist young children when necessary.
- Supervise children indoors and outdoors.
- Move classroom materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Respond quickly to student needs and emergency situations.
Performance will be evaluated in accordance with school district policies and procedures by the Principal, Program Director, and/or designated supervisor.
