Physical Education and 7th and 8th Grade History Teacher - St. Jude Regional School - Rockville

St. Jude Regional School in Rockville, Maryland is hiring a Physical Education/7th and 8th Grade History Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time role reporting to the Principal. Salary range is $44,200 to $47,200 with excellent benefits.

St. Jude Regional Catholic School, a faith-filled Catholic school serving students in PreK–8th grade, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher/History for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will foster a love of physical activity, promote healthy lifestyles, and support the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical development of students within a Catholic educational environment. The candidate will also teach 7th and 8th grade history.

• Teach Physical Education classes to students in PreK–8th grade.
• Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and lifelong healthy habits.
• Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Organize and coordinate school-wide fitness activities and special events.
• Maintain appropriate student records and communicate regularly with parents.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and goals of the school.
• Model Christian values and actively support the Catholic identity of the school.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Maryland teaching certification or ability to obtain one within 3-5 years of hiring.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Practicing Catholic preferred.
