Position SummaryThe instructor will develop and teach LIS 855:
Topics in Information Agency Management – Budgeting in an asynchronous online format
, under the supervision of the Director of the iSchool. The role focuses on teaching graduate students and providing expertise in budgeting and resource stewardship for libraries and information agencies.
- Serve as initial contact for students regarding course content and expectations
- Develop instructional design, curriculum, and course materials
- Facilitate online classroom instruction and assess student performance
- Master’s degree in Library and Information Studies or related field
- Experience in librarianship or information agencies, specifically in budgeting and resource management
- Experience working with local governments, boards, or funders is preferred
- Graduate-level teaching experience
- Part-time, 40% FTE for a short-term appointment
