Elementary School, Special Education Teacher

The greatest need is for educators experienced in self-contained elementary classrooms, where you'll enrich the lives of students in small‑group settings (typically 4-6 students per class).

- For elementary roles: K-6 certification.
- For secondary roles: 6-12 certification.
- Willingness to work onsite throughout the contract duration.
- Adaptability to various caseloads, focusing primarily on elementary self‑contained, with high school opportunities also available.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Deliver individualized instruction in line with students IEPs.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and families to ensure student growth.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Participate in school and district meetings, trainings, and professional development.
This contract begins August 6, 2026 and runs through May 27, 2027, with a 37.5 hour work week.
