About the Role:As a Staff Development Coordinator - SDC, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing training programs, workshops, and educational events to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff members. You will work closely with department leaders and subject matter experts to design and deliver engaging training sessions, ensuring that our staff stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Your goal will be to improve staff performance, increase job satisfaction, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs, workshops, and educational events to meet the needs of our staff members
- Collaborate with department leaders and subject matter experts to create engaging and relevant training content
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, and equipment rentals
- Evaluate training programs and gather feedback from staff participants to improve future training initiatives
- Develop and maintain training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, handouts, and other educational resources
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce hospital-acquired complications
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among staff members, promoting open communication and positive working relationships
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, training and development, human resources) RN
- 0+ years of experience in staff development, training, or a related field
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and training design methodologies
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
