Description:

Seneca Resources is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Scheduler to join a leading engineering and construction services firm dedicated to delivering top-quality projects within the pulp and paper industry, as well as other heavy industrial sectors. This pivotal role focuses on supporting engineering-driven projects through meticulous planning, scheduling, and cost control across front-end loading (FEL) phases and detailed design stages. In this role, you'll develop and manage complex engineering schedules using Primavera P6, collaborate with design teams to ensure accurate progress tracking, and generate reports to monitor project health, including earned value analysis and spend forecasting. Your expertise will help keep high-stakes projects on schedule and within budget, supporting the successful delivery of key industrial programs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain Level 1, 2, and 3 engineering schedules in Primavera P6 (MS Project proficiency a plus).

* Collaborate with design leads and project managers to gather accurate progress updates and resolve scheduling discrepancies.

* Monitor project performance against schedules and budgets, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.

* Prepare comprehensive project status reports, including earned value analysis, work-hour forecasts, change management, and spend curves.

* Support engineering workflows across FEL2, FEL3, and detailed design phases, ensuring schedules align with project milestones.

Top Requirements:

* Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering scheduling or project controls within heavy industrial, pulp & paper, chemical, or power sectors.

* Proficiency in Primavera P6 with familiarity in MS Project.

* Deep understanding of engineering workflows during FEL and detailed design phases, including FEL2, FEL3, and detailed engineering.

* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to effectively coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
