Salary Range:$120,000 – $125,000/year

Hours:Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Work Location:Onsite only (no remote or hybrid)
Position Summary:
Selectek is seeking aControls Engineerwith extensive experience inSiemens S7-300 and S7-1500 PLC programming. This is adirect hireopportunity with a manufacturing company near Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capital project execution, PLC conversions, panel design, startup/commissioning, and ongoing control system modifications.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Siemens S7-300 and S7-1500 PLC programming
- Proficiency withSimatic Manager and TIA Portal (V15.1 – V18)
- Capital project experience and working knowledge ofNEC and NFPA codes
- AutoCAD 2016experience (specifically forpanel design)
- Background in afast-paced manufacturingenvironment
- Startup and commissioning of machines and control systems
- Ability to read and interpretelectrical schematics
- Experience withVFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineeringor equivalent years of experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, small-team environment
- HMI development experience
- Previous work convertingS7-300 to S7-1500
- Experience traveling to support remote sites (minimal travel to Pittsburgh ~10%)
- Salary:$120,000 – $125,000/year
- Bonus:Up to 15%
