A Civil Engineer at Atwell, LLC, will be responsible for designing and analyzing site plans, assessing project data, preparing reports, supporting construction activities, and utilizing engineering software to deliver comprehensive land development solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft preliminary and final site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Analyze project survey data to assess existing site conditions, including legal descriptions, surveys, easements, and condo documents.
  • Prepare reports, opinions, and recommendations such as hydrology studies, site analysis reports, cost estimates, project schedules, and permit applications.
  • Support construction activities by preparing permit applications, quantity estimates, cut sheets, and organizing site and construction plans.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete engineering tasks efficiently and accurately.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an Accredited University
  • At least 1 year of experience in civil engineering or land development
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting preliminary and final site plans
  • Ability to analyze project survey data, including legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, easement documents, and condo documents
  • Experience preparing reports, opinions, and recommendations such as hydrology hydraulic studies, site analysis reports, engineer’s opinion of probable costs, project schedules, utility computations, detention retention computations, storm sewer reports, permit applications, stormwater reports, soils reports, earthwork volume calculations, Storm

    CAD reports, Water

    CAD reports, and preliminary grading
  • Experience supporting construction activities, including permit applications, cut sheets, quantity estimates, and transmittals
  • Ability to organize site plans, construction plans, and construction documents under senior staff guidance
  • Mastery of AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages such as Water

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with team members
