We are seeking a skilled and experienced, client‑facing Cyber Security Engineer with a strong focus on cloud security. The successful candidate will secure multi‑cloud environments and embed security principles into cloud‑native architectures across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
This role requires hands‑on technical expertise, strategic thinking and collaboration across engineering, Dev Ops and security teams to embed security principles into cloud‑native architectures with a working knowledge of secure architecture concepts.
Key Responsibilities- Support projects or work streams within larger programmes, consulting with Partners, Directors and Senior Managers where appropriate.
- Plan and shape engagement delivery, including work plans, timelines, project management and resource allocations.
- Provide input on security operations capabilities and services.
- Build and manage relationships with clients on a daily basis.
- Technical background with willingness to learn, and experience within an operationally focused engineering function.
- Experience bringing a technology perspective to a broad range of client issues and demonstrating value.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking and architecture principles, identity and access management models, security monitoring and SIEM integration.
- Required to hold or be able to obtain UK National Security Vetting. Candidates must be UK nationals or dual UK nationals and have resided in the UK for at least the past 5 years.
- Proven hands‑on experience with at least two cloud environments:
- AWS
- VMware Cloud Foundation
- Google Cloud
- Experience securing multi‑cloud or hybrid environments, including greenfield and legacy platforms.
- Managing teams and structuring complex projects.
- Clear record of achievement and progression in a consulting firm or comparable environment.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications.
- Consulting experience within a Big 4 or mid‑tier firm.
- Working knowledge of Secure By Design requirements.

This position will largely be based within the Southwest of England and Manchester, with an expectation that the successful candidate will work from client sites three or more days a week.
