Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer
We are seeking a driven and curious, client-focused Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in Birmingham, AL. As a member of our Birmingham team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself and perform a variety of water and wastewater conveyance and treatment projects from the initial planning and design phase through construction.
- Providing on-site troubleshooting based on field conditions including construction observation, startup and testing, and project closeout activities
- Assisting with bid phase and award of construction contracts
- Construction contract administration (schedule, time, and quality management)
- Assisting in the preparation of plans and specifications
- Performing research, technical writing, development of documentation and studies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Construction Engineering
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and pdf editors
- Relevant construction and/or water/wastewater coursework or projects
- Prior work or internship experience with an engineering consultancy or municipality
- Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year

The base salary range for this position is $58,656.00 to $82,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
