Description
We are looking to hire an Asset Reliability Manager for our Bournville site. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance teams in building up Preventative Maintenance strategies, manage a change journey in the plant’s automation processes, and implement and renew the Predictive Maintenance Planning programme.
How you will contribute- Develop and implement a strategic Facilities roadmap and annual operating plan that is a competitive advantage to Mondelēz.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders and service providers to define and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.
- Establish governance to review and control operational performance and continuous improvement plans, delivering best‑in‑class results.
- Ensure adherence to the business continuity plan and manufacturing standards, ensuring that government regulations are understood and implemented by all employees and service providers.
- Provide leadership and coaching to the Facilities team in implementing IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) and achieving zero breakdowns through preventative/predictive maintenance strategies, PM Pillar, CBM, visual controls, lubrication management, and equipment calibration.
- Model values and principles, mentor and build skills capability across the plant’s technical and engineering teams to engage with modern practices.
- Develop a succession and resource plan for the asset and technology population, identifying critical levers to attract, retain and develop talent.
- Interface with key stakeholders internally and externally to maintain effective relationships and align priorities with company objectives.
- Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in FMCG, food production, or the manufacturing industry.
- Proven ability to coach and develop managers.
- Experience in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, LEAN, Six Sigma tools and concepts, and Safety & GMP standards.
- An engineer with strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance (PM), SAP PM module or equivalent, and basics of technology & engineering automation.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and leadership skills in a team‑based environment.
- Demonstrated abilities in analytics and problem solving.
