Electrical Engineer

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our expert team in Shoreham-by-Sea.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly specialised engineering projects, designing electrical systems for equipment operating in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX / IECEx).

You’ll play a key role in both bespoke customer solutions and new product development, working closely with engineering and commercial teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and cost-effective designs.

• Design electrical systems for hazardous area applications (gas and dust environments)
• Produce electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Integrate control and protection systems into complex machinery and engines
• Specify and select electrical components and systems
• Support compliance, testing, and product certification activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales and Engineering
• Provide technical expertise throughout the customer project lifecycle

You’re a proactive and detail-oriented engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working in a collaborative environment.

You will bring:

• Experience in electrical system design and integration
• Strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
• Familiarity with PLCs or industrial control systems
• Experience using AutoCAD Electrical
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Working within regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Knowledge of ATEX / IECEx standards
• Experience with AC/DC systems, CANbus, or EMC

• Degree or HND in Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent experience)
