Electrical Building Services Engineer – Intermediate Level
As an Electrical Building Services Engineer at Arup, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver innovative, sustainable electrical solutions for a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, industry, data centres and education. Your work will span the full project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies to final construction and commissioning, incorporating automation, BIM integration and digital‑first design tools to maximise efficiency and value for clients.
We’relooking for a candidate who
- Has a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
- Is actively pursuing Chartered status through CIBSE, IET or equivalent professional bodies.
- Demonstrates proficiency in designing electrical systems such as lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and data/communications networks.
- Has experience working within a BIM environment, using Revit and electrical design tools such as Amtech, Dialux, or Relux.
- Shows strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
