Job TypeContract - 36 Months
Job Description- Minimum 5 years of design experience of industrial and/or commercial structural engineering. Experience with analyzing steel connections.
- Professional Engineering registration is a plus, but not required. Proficient with MathCAD and STAAD Pro.
- Working knowledge with ANSYS.
- Working knowledge of AISC, ASCE, ACI codes.
- Design experience in transmission structures is a plus, but not required. Computer skills to be proficient with standard office software applications.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to build working relationships with peers, internal customers and the general public.
- Time management skills sufficient to manage multiple projects with various priorities and competing demands.
- The individual will be expected to work in the office while onboarding and getting familiar with our process and procedures. After that time, they can work remotely.
- The candidate needs to reside approximately 1 hour from the Energy Center.
- PPE Requirement:
Hardhat, safety glasses and possibly steel toe shoes.
