The role involves providing drafting support for land development projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D, producing detailed engineering drawings, reviewing survey data, and collaborating with project teams to ensure timely completion of assignments in the land development, residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a resource for design staff regarding drafting practices and procedures
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to complete project assignments
- Produce drawings such as soil erosion plans, site layout, grading, storm sewer, water, and sanitary sewer plans, construction layout, and staking
- Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and development factors
- Complete edits and modify plans based on agency, municipality, and client revisions
- Communicate with Project Managers and Team Leaders to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines
- High School Diploma Required
- 5 years of previous design experience within Residential, Commercial or Industrial Land Development
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software packages
