4p-Consulting-Inc. is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in Birmingham, AL for a 9-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a Professional Engineering License (PE), with at least 15-20 years of extensive experience in civil and structural engineering in new construction and/or retrofit projects, particularly in heavy industrial facilities.
Proficiency in structural design principles, including steel and concrete design is essential, along with knowledge of relevant codes such as AISC and ASCE. Familiarity with tools such as STAAD, PCA MATS, and ANSYS will be a plus.
