A320 Flight Line A&P Mechanic; 2nd shift

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for a Flight line A&P Mechanic to join our A320 team based in Mobile, AL. This is a 2nd shift position with a work schedule of Monday through Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm. Flexibility to shift based on company needs is paramount.

• Perform Functional Test Procedures, Pre & Post Flight inspections to prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness.
• Troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft systems using approved aircraft data.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions, rigs, repairs, replacement aircraft structures, components and aircraft systems of moderate difficulty.
• Maintain and rework aircraft components including but not limited to landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and ventilation.
• Servicing, repair cabin interior components.
• Prepare documentation in accordance with company procedure.
• Perform day-to-day aircraft maintenance.
• Experience with Refuel/Defuel, Aircraft Jack and Tow.

• 3 years minimum aviation experience, preferably in an aviation manufacturing or MRO environment.
• Valid Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Valid Driver License.
• Willing to work rotation shift schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid passport that allows unrestricted travel to Canada.
• High School Diploma or equivalent vocational/technical school credential.

  Able to operate standard office equipment, ground support equipment, and man lifts.

  Able to lift up to 40lbs (18kg) on occasion.
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Able to push/pull up to 500lbs on wheels.
• Sitting:
  Able to sit for extended periods.
• Squatting/Kneeling:
  Able to occasionally squat/kneel.
• Standing:
  Able to stand for long periods.
• Travel:
  Able to travel domestically and/or internationally for training purposes and off‑site aircraft recovery.
• Walking:
  Able to walk through office and production areas, sometimes on uneven surfaces.
• Climate:
  Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Citizenship:
  Must be able to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
