Principal Civil​/structural Engineer

Working across multiple sectors (highways, rail, power and energy) involved in the engineering design of a variety of structure types - from bridges to buildings and including temporary works. We don't expect you to be an expert in all structure types or sectors and training will be provided where required. The role offers a varied workload and a chance for you to develop and broaden your skills in new areas.

• Act as a technical lead for the delivery projects
• Produce calculations and drawings, risk assessments, specifications and reporting
• Lead, line manage and develop a delivery-focused team of Engineers and Technicians
• Manage schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management
• Secure and deliver works to new and existing clients
• Bridge Design
• Building Structure Design
• Civil Engineering Structures Design
• Temporary Works Design
• Experience in rail / highways / power sectors

• MEng, CEng (ICE or IStructE)
• Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
• A client-focused approach, with understanding of construction best practice
• Good working knowledge of structural analysis software
• Experience in the production of calculations/drawings, risk assessments, specifications and reporting
