Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for a degreed Engineer to fill a four-month contract assignment in the Birmingham, AL area. This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary. Requirements include 0-5 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree.

Entry Level will be considered. Electrical, Mechanical Engineers preferred. Aerospace, Biomedical and Chemical Engineers will be considered based on background and experience. Skillsets and expertise include introductory engineering knowledge, basic problem-solving skills, limited discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor, basic discipline software knowledge, strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships.

Responsibilities include applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to support resolution of open engineering issues, support completion of Comprehensive System Reviews, and support engineering evaluations supporting Nuclear Plants. Creating a safe work environment by putting safety first and executing assigned work with quality.
