Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations for a growing, project-driven organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, operational discipline, and regulatory compliance while partnering closely with executive leadership. Compensation: $125-140k

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including billing, receivables, and reconciliations
• Manage month-end close activities and support financial reporting
• Review and approve disbursements and vendor payments
• Direct payroll processing and related tax submissions
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements
• Coordinate subcontractor payments and documentation
• Partner with senior finance leadership on special projects and improvements

• 5+ years of experience.
• Construction industry accounting required
• Experience leading or supervising accounting teams
• Advanced knowledge of payroll tax and regulatory filings
• Hands-on experience with construction-focused ERP and payment platforms
