Join a Team Redefining What Comprehensive Planning Can Be.

At Savant, we help clients see their wealth from every angle — retirement, taxes, investments, estate planning, business strategy, charitable giving, and beyond — so they can make confident, life‑changing financial decisions.

If you’re a planner who loves diving deep into sophisticated financial scenarios and building meaningful client relationships, this is where your career takes its next leap forward.

Why This Role Matters

As a Financial Planner on our Planning Team, you’ll work side‑by‑side with Strategists and Advisors to design comprehensive, elegant solutions across Savant’s 10 key areas of planning. You’ll become a trusted resource for clients and internal partners — and as your expertise evolves, you’ll take an increasingly active role in leading client conversations and owning the planning process.

This is more than entering numbers into software. It’s partnering with a firm that believes planning is powerful, purposeful, and personal.

What You’ll Do

As a Financial Planner at Savant, you’ll play a central role in delivering a comprehensive, coordinated, and deeply personal planning experience to our clients. Your work will span analysis, collaboration, communication, and client relationship‑building, including:

Support the Planning Process
  • Partner closely with Strategists, Advisors, and Financial Planning Associates to ensure every client’s financial needs are fully understood and addressed.
  • Promote and uphold Savant’s planning process across our 10 key planning areas: retirement, education, income tax, investments, estate, business, charitable, risk, debt, and health & wellness.
  • Participate in planning‑related meetings and manage ongoing client communication.
Data Gathering & Analysis
  • Gather, organize, and synthesize client information — including financial statements, tax returns, insurance documents, estate plans, and more.
  • Input, maintain, and verify client data across planning software, CRM systems, and tax technology tools.
  • Prepare and deliver a wide range of financial analyses such as tax projections, Social Security optimization, insurance valuations, stock option modeling, Roth conversion scenarios, pension analyses, and other planning insights.
  • Develop and present retirement plans using interactive financial planning software.
Strategy & Collaboration
  • Work alongside Strategists and Advisors to craft thoughtful, tailored planning recommendations.
  • Utilize financial analysis tools to review outputs and ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with planning goals.
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings to gather information, uncover goals, and support the development of comprehensive plans.
Client Service & Relationship Building
  • Cultivate strong client relationships, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Serve as a resource for Advisors and clients by answering planning‑related questions with clarity and confidence.
  • Ensure a consistent, exceptional client experience through proactive communication and service.
Teamwork & Professional Growth
  • Contribute to a team‑first culture by assisting colleagues and stepping in where needed.
  • Take ownership of your professional development and progress along Savant’s Planning Team career path.
  • Perform additional duties as requested to support the integrated wealth management experience.
