Capital Market Relations Associate
Full Time On Site
Location Birmingham AL

Our client is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to support external communications and reporting related to financial performance and company strategy. This role supports leadership by assisting with analysis reporting and coordination related to stakeholder communications. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys working with financial information and partnering across teams in a professional services or corporate environment.

What You Will Do
  • Assist with the preparation of periodic investor and stakeholder materials
  • Support analysis of financial information and market data to inform messaging
  • Review external reports and summarize key takeaways for internal teams
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings presentations and external events
  • Maintain internal records databases and presentation materials
  • Respond to external inquiries and track engagement activity
  • Support record keeping related to stakeholders and ownership information
  • Prepare recurring reports and summaries related to engagement activity
  • Assist with analysis of operational and financial performance trends
  • Partner with internal teams including Finance Accounting and Legal as needed
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Communications or a related field
  • Two to four years of relevant experience in finance accounting communications or a related professional role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize analyze and summarize large amounts of information
  • Working knowledge of financial and operational reporting
  • Proficiency with Excel PowerPoint or similar business tools
  • Experience with CRM or tracking systems preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative cross functional environment

Salary range is noted in this job posting as required by local law. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
