At Highland Associates, the Client Operations and Performance Analyst role is responsible for input and analysis of client data for reporting investment performance. The role supports client communication by providing information clients need to evaluate portfolio effectiveness in meeting investment objectives and provides operational support to client consulting teams, including aiding clients with investment transactions, tracking the status of client investment reports, tracking client private equity data, and contributing to performance-related projects.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Partners and provides operational support to the client consulting function, ensuring the reporting process aids clients in achieving long-term investment goals
- Inputs and verifies client investment data for calculating performance
- Performs detailed analysis on client statements, ensuring returns are calculated and reported correctly to clients
- Prepares and distributes quarterly performance and monthly performance flash reports
- Generates ad-hoc reports and completes ad-hoc projects for clients
- Tracks aggregate private equity reporting for client accounts
- Tracks status of all client reports, both monthly and quarterly
- Completes performance-related projects that could include system enhancements, new module testing, or report reconfiguration
- Responsible for problem resolution for reporting errors
- Responsible for one or more areas of concentration which includes: client trade support, private equity reporting, GIPS, or RFP data requests
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or another related field
- Proficient knowledge of the investment management industry
- Proficient knowledge of performance reporting processes and computer programs
- Three (3) years of experience with Investment Management Performance or another directly related field
- Good time management skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Sound knowledge of financial statements and strong quantitative skills
- Solid skills with reporting applications, e.g. Excel, Investor Force
Position may be filled at a higher level depending on candidate's qualifications and relevant experience

Compensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and the level of the position.
Job Range Target:
Minimum: $48,900.50 USD
Median: $62,920.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans:
