Senior Accounting Analyst - Investments

• Maintain accounting records for complex investment portfolios, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and derivatives
• Execute and document SOX control testing to ensure compliance and maintain current departmental documentation
• Research and assess accounting treatment for new, complex, or non-routine investment transactions
• Ensure investment accounting activities are completed accurately, completely, and on schedule
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend changes that enhance efficiency, quality, and decision‑making
• Provide senior-level support by assigning work, reviewing deliverables, and mentoring junior team members
• Partner with investment accounting leadership to track progress against team objectives and operational goals

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA, CFA, CMA, or comparable professional certification
• 6+ years of relevant experience in investment accounting, financial reporting, or insurance accounting, including involvement in projects or process improvement initiatives
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, including VBA and macro development
• Experience with SAP or similar enterprise financial systems preferred
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and FASB standards, particularly related to insurance or investment accounting

Salary Expectations: $80,
