What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll take ownership of key transactional finance processes, including:
- Managing purchase ledger and supplier payments
- Maintaining the sales ledger and customer accounts
- Performing bank reconciliations and cash tracking
- Processing employee expenses and corporate cards
- Supporting month-end activities (accruals, prepayments, reconciliations)
- Acting as a key contact for suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes as the business scales

What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, reliable work.
You’ll likely have- Experience in a finance assistant, accounts, or transactional finance role
- Strong understanding of purchase ledger and basic bookkeeping principles
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Confidence using Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Xero, Sage or similar)
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to suggest ideas, new ways of working and improve processes
- AAT qualification (or working towards it)
- Experience in a high-volume, SME
- Exposure to a fast-growing, scaling business
