Confidential search - Birmingham, AL. Looking for a Controller or an experienced senior accountant who's ready for more.

The company is privately held, has 30+ years in business, is profitable, and actively growing through acquisitions. The finance function needs a real leader, not just a caretaker.

The opportunity:

immediate ownership of the accounting function, direct access to ownership, and a real path to the CFO seat.

The profile sought: 8+ years in accounting leadership, comfortable managing remote or multi-location teams, strong in AR/billing and month-end close, and someone whose integrity and character is even stronger than their technical skills.

Determining compensation for this role depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. As required by local law where salary range disclosure applies, the salary range is noted in this posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
