Position Overview

This Personal Banker role is located in Birmingham, AL within PNC’s Retail Banking organization.
Job Description- Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience to improve financial wellbeing.
- Drives proactive sales conversations through outbound calling, service-to-sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement to enhance client loyalty.
- Creates customer loyalty and grows share of wallet via a differentiated customer experience, performing lobby engagement and positioning PNC products to meet client needs.
- Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
- Manages risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits and participating in daily branch operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
PNC employees are expected to be customer‑focused, knowledgeable about values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction in all business decisions, and able to create customized customer solutions.
They should manage risk by assessing and effectively handling all associated risks to support PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
