In this role, you’ll help build a strong, scalable finance function, making sure project costs are accurate, reports are clear, and leaders have the financial insight they need. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and compliance with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage core accounting functions, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and the general ledger
• Lead the optimization and integration of financial systems, with a focus on job costing, project tracking, and ERP performance
• Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow models to guide business planning and resource allocation
• Turn operational data into clear, actionable insights to improve financial processes and decision-making
• Build, mentor, and lead a small, high-performing accounting team
• Act as a strategic financial partner to senior leadership, delivering data that drives smart decisions
• Maintain accuracy and consistency in all aspects of project accounting and cost tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and team leadership skills
• 5+ years of experience leading accounting in a project-based or construction-related environment
• Deep knowledge of job costing, margin analysis, and financial systems integration
• Proficiency with ERP platforms
• Familiarity with project management tools is a plus
• Practical experience developing and maintaining dashboards in Power BI or similar tools
