Role Overview
Actively works with under‑performing and distressed companies in a range of strategic areas, including special situations investment banking, turnarounds, performance improvement, restructuring, and interim management.
Vice Presidents in the Financial Advisory Services group support new business development and client engagements, including managing the execution of processes.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information, including 13‑week cash flow projections.
- Coordinate and perform detailed business due diligence.
- Execute engagements and manage day‑to‑day processes and maintain strict deadlines.
- Organize and prepare forecasts, financial statements, management presentations and other deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain complex financial models.
- Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements.
- Build relationships and maintain contact with clients, prospective clients and professional advisors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Accountant (CFA) (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting expertise.
- 4+ years of financial advisory and/or corporate restructuring experience.
- Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions and related financial advisory services.
- Graduate degree.
- Operational Accountant preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with accounting and corporate finance.
- Deep analytical capabilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Motivated, creative, outgoing with a strong work ethic.
- Strong skills in financial analysis.
- Willingness to travel (25–50%).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (E‑Verify).
- Must pass an FBI background check with fingerprinting.
Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in‑office and work‑from‑home options.
Compensation and BenefitsAnnual base salary: $150,000–$165,000. Eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. Benefits include health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
