At Regions, the Corporate Trust Relationship Consultant handles trust-related issues involving the scheduling of payments, clients' special requests, and other non-investment matters for basic accounts. This role may assist the Trust Area Manager in developing new business with existing clients. This position plays a key role in assisting Regions with meeting client needs through building deeper client relationships across multiple business groups.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manages the set-up, implementation, and administration of Corporate Trust Accounts
- Oversees and provides exceptional service for client relationships
- Follows issues through to resolutions while meeting deadlines, and anticipating strategic client needs including future opportunities and risk
- Coordinates client service activities with other areas of the organization
- Remains abreast of trends and developments in Corporate Trust to ensure proper administration
- Understands clients' objectives and identifies and provides alternatives to appropriate stakeholders
- Develops internal and external relationships with existing and new centers-of- influence (COIs)
- Performs duties in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures and Corporate Trust Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulations
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of Trust or related experience
- Or High School Diploma with five (5) years of Trust or closely related experience

- Knowledge of effective sales techniques
- Knowledge of trust principles and regulatory and tax matters relating to the administration of trust accounts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Acts in a trustee and/or paying agent capacity on bond issuances, ensuring adherence to governing documents and transaction requirements
- Administers and services corporate trust bond issues, including coordinating payment distributions, tracking compliance obligations, and managing bond related events
- Supports the execution and ongoing administration of debt financings and bond transactions, working closely with internal partners, clients, counsel, and other transaction partners.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

50th Percentile:
$95,100.00 USD
Incentive Pay Plans:
This role is eligible to participate in a formulaic incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn incentives based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
