Small Business Administration Banker

Job Description

Small Business Administration Banker facilitates Small Business Administration (SBA) transactions on behalf of Relationship Managers.

• Educates associates on the benefits of SBA lending.
• Utilizes external referral sources to generate new business.
• Develops and manages SBA programs and creates strategies to originate SBA loans in the marketplace.
• Develops referral sources to solicit SBA loan opportunities.
• Presents the company's loan capabilities and structures SBA loan proposals.
• Maintains a thorough understanding of SBA policies and structure, product knowledge, and financial analysis.

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

• Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of experience in banking or sales.

• Prior involvement in generating SBA loans or related experience.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and be a team player.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• This position will have coverage of North Central Alabama supporting Regions Commercial Bank.
• This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.

Job Range Target:
Minimum: $ USD;
Median: $ USD.

Incentive Pay Plans:
Eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals. Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
